A relaxing weekend in Santandar, in a 5 star hotel that is well known
as being the best in Santander. It is one of those hotels that has been
there forever. And it shows in the rooms. I felt as I had been
transported back to Mary Antoniette's times... Although... it may be at
some other time that was a 5 star hotel.
Checking in was really dreadful, don't know if the girl was new or what, but I had to prompt her about my reservation details... My room was 504. Impressive views of the bay.
From now on, I will include a brief summary of my stay as below:
It's a good hotel. I would leave it as a 4 star, as service needs improving to reach a 5 star one. Reception would help to have experience staff. Restaurant and food in general, excellent. I was half board, but prices, acording to the menu, were a bit steep if you hadn't it included.
I think next time I am in Santander... I will try to find another hotel before I chose to return here.
