Sir Plantin Hotel is a nice modern boutique hotel in Antwerpen, around 20 minutes walk from the commercial centre. It's dark, but clearly, a really interesting decoration in the rooms: antique characters are part of a big poster at the wall, behind the bed.
When checking in, I was told the carpar was not available due to reform. I think it would have been preferable to have know prior to arrival. The car had to sleep on the street, paying 3.5 Euros for overnight parking... Considerably cheaper than what the cost would have been in the hotel room.
A nice boutique hotel... with some character of its own.
